From the thunder of E-guitarstorm, driving shaft of Rockpower, on to dreamy acoustic guitar - Stephan Urwyler attends the most different styles. He's a (music) pirate, washed with all waters, sailing away on a big joutney. Daring expertly he board musicships from Woodstock to "Alp-blessing". With Walther Schmocker's know how on his bass, who already stood on stage with Chet Baker, John Scofield, Eddie Harris and many others more and with the impetuosity of the only 20 years old Samuel Rohrer on drums, Stephan Urwyler is developping his pushful guitar-music wich is open for the influence from the genius of funky jazz or a tango; rough, edged and then again full of tender harmony. Rock'n'Roll, BeBop or Mambo - Jazz is how you deal with it!
Après deux merveilleux albums avec "City West Quartet", Stephan Urwyler présente sa création actuelle: la "Stephan Urwyler Generations". Le trio cultive des styles plus divers: un orage tonnant de guitar, stimulé par des véhémentes poussée de vent rock, mais aussi les rêveries d'une guitar acoustique. Des sons rugeux parfois, à arêtes vives, et soudain douées d'une harmonie douce et paisible. Rock, tango, bebop et mambo; le jazz c'est les chances de diversité qu'on lui donne!
